The Short Stack is the smallest current Shake-A-Shelf: a handmade, interactive miniature wooden bookshelf with roughly 35 individually folded foam-core miniature books.

At 5 inches tall, it is designed to fit almost anywhere—a desk, shelf, nightstand, wall, or small patch of space that looks like it needs a tiny library. Tilt or shake it to scatter the books, then open the frame and reorganize them whenever the mood strikes.
