Shake-A-Shelf is a handmade, shakable miniature bookshelf series by Massachusetts artist Scott Caz. The idea is simple: miniature books can tumble, shift, be reorganized, and be arranged again inside an openable display frame—part book art, part interactive display, and deliberately never quite perfect.

The Shake-A-Shelf catalog dates back to December 2022, followed by a series of handmade releases and preorder batches that evolved into today’s three core models: The Original Shake-A-Shelf, The Nook, and The Short Stack.
